SIMPLE QUESTION: WHAT POSITION DO YOU PLAY? HOW OLD ARE YOU?
I am a center-back, left or right is not of importance, and also I can play right back, or in a 3-man defense. I just turned 21 years old in March.
AT WHAT AGE DID YOU BEGIN PLAYING FOOTBALL? HOW LONG HAS IT BEEN SINCE YOU JOINED PSG?
I started playing football at 7 years old, in a small club in the Parisian region. It has been one year that I have played for PSG. This season was my first year at the club.
WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER, WHO WAS YOUR IDOL? WHAT CLUB DID YOU SUPPORT?
When I was younger, I was a fan of Zidane, and since my father was from Nantes, I supported FC Nantes.
HOW DO YOU TRAIN DURING THIS PERIOD OF ISOLATION?
During this period, we are in contact with the staff every day, and they give us a daily training program to do individually, and personally I complete the work with a fitness trainer.
WHAT IS THE BEST ASPECT ABOUT PLAYING FOR PSG?
At PSG we have the luck of having an exceptional setting to work. We have good pitches, good equipment, and a great infrastructure. The practices are quality, and so are the staff. Everything is put together so you can improve. I think that this is it, the most positive aspect. In training we work tremendously on technique, ball control, possession, and afterwards we try and transfer the work we do in practices into games in a way that is efficient, so we can win.
WHAT ARE YOUR TIPS FOR YOUNG PLAYERS?
I do not know if I am the right person to be giving advice to young players, but if you ask me, I would say believe in your dreams, believe in yourself, and to never let anything go until the end. Work, work, work…
WHAT IS YOUR GOAL IN YOUR CAREER?
My career, like you convey, has not begun yet, so my objective, firstly, is that it begins. To do so, I have to get my first professional contract, and there is a lot of work left for me to do, so every day I need to progress to reach this goal.

“Je suis défenseur central, droit ou gauche peu importe, et après je peux aussi jouer latéral droit, ou dans une défense à trois. Je viens d’avoir 21 ans, en Mars.”
A QUEL ÂGE AVEZ-VOUS COMMENCÉ À JOUER AU FOOT ? DEPUIS COMBIEN DE TEMPS ÊTES-VOUS AU PSG ?
“J'ai commencé le foot à 7 ans, dans un petit club de la région Parisienne. Ca fait un an que je joue au PSG. Cette saison était ma première année.”
QUAND VOUS ÉTIEZ PETIT, QUI ÉTAIT VOTRE IDOLE ? QUEL CLUB SUPPORTIEZ-VOUS ?
“Quand j'étais petit, j'étais fan de Zizou, et mon père, étant originaire de Nantes, je supportais le FC Nantes.”
COMMENT VOUS ENTRAÎNEZ-VOUS PENDANT CETTE PÉRIODE DE CONFINEMENT ?
“Pendant le confinement, nous sommes en contact tous le jours avec le staff, et ils nous fournissent un programme quotidien d'entraînement individuel à réaliser, et personnellement je complète avec un préparateur physique.”
QUEL EST LE MEILLEUR ASPECT DE JOUEUR POUR LE PSG ?
“Au PSG on a la chance d’avoir un cadre exceptionnel pour travailler. Nous avons des bons terrains, de bons équipements, de bonnes infrastructures. Les entrainements sont de qualité, le staff aussi. Tout est réuni pour progresser. Je pense que c’est ça, le point de plus positif. A l'entraînement nous travaillons énormément la technique, la maîtrise du ballon, la possession, et après nous essayons de le transférer en match dans un souci d'efficacité pour gagner.”
QUELS SONT VOS CONSEILS POUR DES JEUNES JOUEURS ?
“Je ne sais pas si je suis le mieux placé pour donner des conseils aux jeunes joueurs, mai si on me demande, je leur dirais de croire en leurs rêves, de croire en eux, et de rien lâcher, jusqu'au bout. Travailler, travailler, travailler…”
QUEL EST VOTRE BUT DANS VOTRE CARRIÈRE ?
“Ma carrière, comme vous dites, n'a pas encore commence, donc mon objectif dans un premier temps, c’est qu'elle démarre. Pour ça, il faut décrocher un premier contrat professionnel, et il me reste encore du travail, donc tous les jours je doit progresser pour atteindre cet objectif.”
